Sugar and High Fructose Corn Syrup

My Sugar Story


I do not eat sugar or products containing sugar in any of its forms. But from time to time, I would cheat. My absolute last time happened one day about two years ago when I had a piece of home-made sesame candy from my aunt and uncle visiting me.  It broke my tooth, caused an abscess and made me ill for a week.  I had to have the tooth removed.  What I find is that sugar hurts the teeth and weakens it over time. Sugar is an insidious thief of your health! Sugar, high fructose corn syrup, dextrose, and any form of processed sugar harms the body in a host of dis-eases.  I also know that the sugar is difficult to overcome, below is a link that can help!

Well, I do understand that staying fit and healthy in today's world means becoming educated about the products that are available for us to buy.  I am an advocate for eating pure natural plant based foods and staying away from processed foods.  It will take a process of transformation but it is worth it to feel better and stay healthy!

How Our Thoughts Affect Others!

This morning, I got on my bus to go to the farmers market, but there was a tremendous traffic jam!  It took me two (2) hours to get to the market, this is usually a 20 minute trip!    Why?  Because someone or some persons decided to do a cancer awareness walk on the Northern Highway!  There were hundreds of people walking on the highway!  This highway is the only road to get to Belize City!  It is our most travelled and important transportation route!

The massive traffic jam was horrendous, fumes from the congestion was everywhere!  The people who were walking for cancer awareness were breathing in the carbon monoxide from the traffic!  How do you like that,  they think that they were doing something healthy and low and behold they were breathing in more carbon monoxide than any other day because of the massive traffic congestion!  I have lived in Belize for 11 years and have never seen such a traffic jam!   Last year they did not have the amount of people they had this year, because last year we had no such traffic jam!

Now, the people who had to get to work were extremely late!  They were calling their bosses!  The buses were completely thrown of their schedules!  It made a late start for everyone who were not involved with this walk!   If there was an emergency, the police, ambulance, or fire department would not have been able to get through!

The thoughts we think are not private, they reach out and affect others! This cancer walk was poorly planned and did not take into consideration anyone else except for the participants!  There was no personal response ability taken by the planners of this event!  One man on the bus, was a security guard who had to relieve another, he was concerned because he was not going to get paid for the time he missed and now he was affecting the one who he was to relieve also!  Who is going to pay him for the time he missed?  It is important to him, he needs every cent!  And what about the man waiting to be relieved?  He had an important appointment!

How about that? The poorly planned cancer awareness walk, affected others who were not even in the immediate traffic jam!



Now, why am I so interested, because whatever we focus upon grows!  The more we focus upon cancer, the more cancer we will get!  I know as a gardener/farmer, when I want something to grow, I will spend time and focus on that plant until I get the desired results!  It always works!

The way to prevent/halt cancer is not by walking one day a year!  It is by changing one's lifestyle to include eating more green leafy vegetables and raw foods, do away with meat eating and processed food eating, and I know Belizeans love their meat to death!  Exercise is also a crucial part of health and fitness!  I will never stop saying it!  Another ----- Love,  you must love yourself and demonstrate it to yourself by caring for yourself!

Here is my salt journey!

I gave up eating salt in all forms around 1997 or so!  Why?  One day I went out to eat and had a salad and soon after I had a raging headache.  I would get a headache only if my pressure was up because I ate too much salt, so I checked and I suspected that I was having a salt headache!  That incident caused me to lay down for three days with pain!  When I got up, I gave up eating salt!

What I mean is that I did not go out to eat anywhere and I prepared all my food.  I do not use any processed or pre packaged foods.  I use herbs and spices to season with and I have my own salt free seasoning!

Now, I agree with the article because it is true according to my direct experience.  I can feel the difference between the table salt and the sea salt!  It does cause bags under the eyes, baggy eyes has been one of my peeves!

I can tolerate only a minuscule amount of the good sea salt!  I have pink Himalayan sea salt a friend brought me from California.  When I use it, I would use a tiny piece of it in only one dish and not all the time. Salt is a valuable mineral, however it is a micro nutrient!

All people are not the same, we all have different tolerances.  I can only tolerate a very tiny amount, this is why I prepare all my meals and do not eat processed foods!  As. the article says, do observe your body.  Ultimately, you are the one that knows how you feel!  Trust yourself!

The more pure live nutritious foods you eat, the more your body learns to want them!  You will be able to trust your body's wisdom!  It is made to guide you!  Learn to eat better so than you have better guidance.

Also, salt should be added at the end of cooking to preserve the nutrients!  Add while food is still hot!

For me, I must eat natural unprocessed foods, meaning I buy farm fresh fruits and vegetables here in Belize.  I also grow some myself!  I go to a supermarket to buy toilet paper and baking soda,  I do not get food from a supermarket!  Well really many people here in Belize and in America eat what I call "Rubbish".  They call it food, I do not!  Many people do not care about quality they seem to think "they are going die anyway".  However how you feel IS important, cause if you get sick and cannot work and cannot do things for yourself, life will be even harder!  And it will be hard on the people who have to care for you as well, think about it!  And if you have children, you want to be healthy and strong so you can be alive as long as you can for them!

Pay the farmer now and not the doctor later!  The doctor cost more and it is by design, he will never heal you cause he wants your repeat business!

The Body Temple!

The Body is a Computer with Love as the Operating System!

Our bodies which includes our minds, emotions and spirit consciousness are uniquely designed computers!  Our minds and emotions are programmable pieces of software!  We actually operate by running scripts all day long in order to get things done!  We call it automatic, autonomic, habits.

Now, I am going to refer to my post regarding eating "Live/Living  Foods"  because we need the proper fuel for our bodies!  The kinds of foods you eat influences how you think and feel at very subtle levels.   And because our bodies are alive we need alive foods to maintain homoeostasis.  We also need to connect with nature, drink plenty of water and exercise.  We also need to get some sun during the day, early morning before it gets too hot!  Rest is also are part of maintaining balance!  So get adequate rest every night!

Whenever we give our bodies the excellent foods and attention it requires it learns this new program and is very willing with joy to keep running this script.  This is a way it becomes easy and effortless to achieve and maintain your ideal body size, weight and dimension!  The body/mind/emotion system also processes this information as "Love".  You have just expressed Divine Love to you -- yourself.

It is not about "die yet ing" it is about learning how to eat right to assist your body to keep you alive at the highest level of health!  Our bodies already knows how to heal itself!  It has a pre-program for this!

You see at our very atomic core we are pure energy!  Divine Creator's pure energy transforms to matter. Quantum physics has proved this!  Therefore receiving food fuel in its pure and natural form will allow you to generate the most powerful energy.  We call food energy "calories".

We do not need to count calories, we need to allow the interplay of our Spirit Consciousness to guide us into the proper choices!  Our body computer is connected to Divine Creator and at some point we all must choose to allow the higher level of Spirit Consciousness to Operate the system!  It is the only way to true and lasting success!

Now, remember everything is a process, give yourself time to go through the transformation!  Now is the time!  Get started today by adding some "Live Raw Foods to your eating habits!  Only you can change the script program you tell yourself everyday!

Why Should We Eat Living Foods?

What is meant by Live Foods?

Live foods or living foods are raw fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, sprouted grain, herbs spices in their raw natural state!  These foods are alive with enzymes, vitamins, minerals and other micro-nutrients plus anti-oxidants!  Just what the body needs!

Our body thrives from living foods.  These foods have a higher concentration of trapped particles of sunlight in them, we called nutrients!  We need more food with light in them than we need "dead" food in our body systems!

Merriam Webster defines Photo-synthesis as follows:

Definition of PHOTOSYNTHESIS

: synthesis of chemical compounds with the aid of radiant energy and especially light; especially : formation of carbohydrates from carbon dioxide and a source of hydrogen (as water) in the chlorophyll-containing tissues of plants exposed to light
This is why there is a suggestion that we consume a greater portion of our food in the RAW!

Living foods will give you more energy, and build a stronger immune system.  You will feel younger and have more stamina!  Eat more raw living foods today!  After all, we are Light Beings!

First of May Message - 2012

Health and Fitness is a dynamic process.  The word "dynamic" comes from dynamo.  dynamo (from the Greek word dynamis; meaning power -- from Wikipedia.


Dynamo-- a very energetic person; live wire, fireball -- Merriam Webster Dictionary 

Definition of ENERGY

Exercise is for more than loosing weight or keeping physically fit.  Exercise is for the proper dynamic flow of "Divine Energy or Qi.  The Chinese defines it as: Qi is frequently translated as life energy, lifeforce, or energy flow --- Wikipedia.


This Qi or Divine Energy is what keeps us alive, it is indeed our very life force!  Qi or Divine Energy flows directly from our Creator, through our heart and physical vehicle.  This energy connects physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual energies within us.


Our body is a universe, and just as all things in the universe move, so must we, so we must move.  Movement is ethereal and eternal.  Movement is beauty.  Movement is love.  Movement is music.  


When we exercise we are creating a musical tune our Creator hears, see and feel.  You may not be aware of it, but if you begin to focus upon that statement when you exercise, you will find out that exercise is fun and easy.  You will create your own movements that massage and heals you in a very special way.

I know this because ever since an auto-mobile ran over my left leg and broke the tibia, and cut the Achilles tendon in Los Angeles in 1979, I can feel the flow of "Divine Energy" within my body especially when I exercise or move.  Not only can I feel the flow, I also feel the blockages.  I can make movements that release the blockage.  I am able to make specific exercises right where the pain of the blocked energy is and make that area feel better.


Exercise is extremely important if you have had injuries, because to keep joints moving you must exercise or make some kind of movement.  If you do not move your joints you are going to get stiff and feel pain.   The reason we get stiff is because the energy cannot flow where there has been a "break" in the line of communication.


In order to have kept myself free of pain and stiffness over these years, I developed therapeutic movements that releases the blocked energy and relieve the pain, no pills just dynamic movements.
